Summer 2011 Sweepstakes Winner Announced!

GeothermalGenius.org is happy to announce that the winner of the Summer 2011 “Free AC Beneath Your Feet Sweepstakes” is Dan Deweese of Manchester, Missouri!  Dan, like many others, left a testimonial on our geothermal testimonial map, which automatically entered him into our Summer 2011 Sweepstakes!  As per the results of today’s drawing, Dan is the lucky winner of free air conditioning for the months of June, July, and August 2011!

As part of a two-year journey to make our suburban home as sustainable as possible, we had a geothermal heating and cooling system installed in April 2010. It is fantastic! We’re already saving money every month on utilities, and we’re reducing our carbon footprint too!

The video below showcases (in speedy fashion) the drilling and grouting of one of three geothermal wells at Dan’s residence in Missouri.
